Our Story
From a thesis on bricks
to eighteen cities
Artemis began as a student thesis at CEPT University and grew, one product and one facade at a time, into a cast stone studio working across India and overseas.
Every piece is still made by hand in HP-FRCS, built on one belief: true luxury is inseparable from responsibility. We recycle stone waste, choose materials that respect the planet, and design for generations, not for replacement.

A precision-engineered composite cladding material comprising Portland cement, graded aggregates, alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcement, and mineral oxide pigments. Through-body colour and dense microstructure deliver long-term facade performance across all climates.
Not only do the products made at Artemis Cast Stone resemble natural cut stone, the physical properties exceed those of the most natural stone. Adding to that, the products are made without disrupting the ecological balance and habitat of several living forms.

Our Story
From a thesis on bricks
to eighteen cities
Artemis began as a student thesis at CEPT University. One product and one facade at a time, it grew into a cast stone studio that works across India and overseas.
Everything started with a brick. At CEPT University, Parshva Shah's thesis asked a simple question: what could quarry stone dust become? The first answer was bricks, and they became the first product Artemis ever made.
A venture studio then took the idea into incubation and pushed it to break out of bricks and into products. The first planters, lights and furniture came out of that push, made by hand. They became the first Artemis collection, and the start of everything that followed.
Bricks had proved the material. Products would have to prove the business.
From products to facades
In 2017 Artemis took on its first facade: 28,000 sq ft of cast stone. It showed that the material could work at architectural scale, and it set the direction for the work that followed.
Facades asked more of the material. Intensive R&D turned early cast stone into HP-FRCS, the High Performance Fibre Reinforced Cast Stone that Artemis makes today.
Scaling up, going abroad
Pavan Bakeri backed the studio as its first and only investor. That support let Artemis scale up its production and take on larger work. The first export order went to the USA in 2022, and Dubai followed in 2025.

Every product is cast using up to 30% upcycled stone dust. Because colour comes from this natural material rather than a printed finish, the exact shade can vary slightly piece to piece and batch to batch. This variation is inherent to the medium and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Colours and textures shown here are digital representations, and screen calibration can distort how a shade appears. The finished product may look slightly different in person. If colour accuracy is critical to your project, please check with our team and request a physical sample before confirming your order.

Standard production is limited to the colours and textures shown in our palette. Custom colours and bespoke textures outside this range can be developed on request, subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ) — speak with our team to discuss feasibility and pricing.
